Celebrating Israel@75with Partners and Friends

Reading of Israel’s Declaration of Independence hosted by WZO at the Egalitarian Kotel

Israel’s Declaration of Independence is a seminal Jewish text that this year, more than ever, reminds us to reconnect to a vision, a shining light to all of us. As Israel turns 75 it is a good time to go back and read it. You can find the text of the Declaration here.

The Power of Giving

Once again, JCC Global is featured at the Haaretz magazine in conjunction with the Jewish Federations of North America special GA gathering in Israel this week, with 3000 participants from Jewish communities in North America and around the world. Ma Nishma? Israel- How are you doing, Israel?

Just in time for Israel’s Independence Day, The Jewish Agency for Israel, in cooperation with Z3 Project of the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto, and Shaanan Streett of HaDag Nahash, released a song that brings together the unique voices and diverse faces of the Jewish people in Israel, and around the globe. You are welcome to add this video clip to your Israel@75 play list.

A Special Addition of TAMUZ for Israel@75

The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, in partnership with the Shalom Hartman Institute, published a special edition for Israel@75. You are welcome to read and grapple with different visions of Israel from the point of view of four Jewish scholars.

Whether in Israel or abroad, in the confines of your home or amidst your community members, we wish you a meaningful Israel Independence Day with a strong recommitment to our shared future. Yom HaAtzmaut Sameach! יום עצמאות שמח JCC Global team
