“Each one is a small light and together we are steadfast” JCCs joining Global Hanukkah Programs
Thirty-eight Jewish Community Centers from Argentina, Greece, Israel, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine, UK, Venezuela, and the USA celebrated the holiday of Hanukkah in 18 joint events. From young children and youth to families, seniors, staff members and board members. Many local events took place in person, while the joint online events included original dance, musical performances, theater, quizzes, and a joint candle lighting ceremony, ending with a blessing for the Jewish People.
