CDI Mexico Aviv Dance Festival opens May 28th

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to enjoy the creativity and energy of this one-of-a-kind event. For the first time in 47 years, the Aviv Festival will be open- for free- to viewers from all over the world from May 28th to June 6th. Thirty dance troupes from 11 countries will join hundreds of dancers from Mexico City to celebrate Amiut- Jewish Peoplehood. To join the Facebook streaming, click here.

June 17th Culture Passport

In partnership with the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan and CDI Mexico, we invite you to join: Culture Passport: Mexico - How Dance is a Cultural Bridge. Thursday, June 17, 11:00 a.m. NY time/ 6:00 p.m. Israel time.

For nearly 50 years, Festival Aviv in Mexico City has brought together members of the Mexican Jewish community through dance. Participants of the dance festival and CDI Mexico will join us to discuss the uniqueness of Mexican Jewish culture and the importance of dance as an integrator of all Mexican Jewish sectors. The program will take place in English.
