10th World Conference of JCCs- a resounding success
More than 500 Jewish leaders and 36 teen leaders from 26 countries and more than 100 Jewish communities gathered in Jerusalem for the 10th World Conference of JCCs and Amitim2.0 Assembly, December 9-12, 2019.
“Towards a Joint Future: The Power of the JCC Global Network” was the theme that permeated the multiple sessions and events that took place during both gatherings. Delegates has the opportunity to hear from scholars, meet peers in small group discussion, network, discuss and build together an ever-stronger network of JCC professional and lay leaders.

Happy Tu Bishvat
As the world is experiencing unprecedented weather calamities, the Jewish focus on the desired harmony between mankind and nature is more relevant than ever.
We find in Ecclesiastes Rabbah the following text:
“When God created the first human, God led him around all the trees in the Garden of Eden. God said to him, “See my works, how beautiful and praiseworthy they are. Everything I have created has been created for your sake. Think of this, and do not corrupt or destroy My World; for if you corrupt it, there will be non one to set it right after you.”
Certainly, it is our responsibility to take care of the earth for our sake and the sake of generations to come. We command the many JCCs around the world that lead the way in programs that promote ecology and sustainability and welcome you to share your initiatives and accomplishments.
